Spring

Lots of changes to talk about this time. First and formost is I quit my job with Emdeon. Despite the rumors, it was not because they denied all my winter vacation time. Although an affective ban on ski trips this winter was a drag.

No....I quit because I found a better job. Dream job infact. See the More Top Stories section for details. This leads me to change number two. The new company is a mostly work from home outfit. So, no more commute! I will admit, other than missing the extra time I had with Karen each day, I do not miss the driving one bit.

Now the whopper....although the new company is mostly work from home, the position I took does require me to show up in an office frequently.....and office in Lexington Mass. So we are moving! Yep. Moving out.

The house is on the market (do you know anyone who wants to live in Maryland?) and we are looking into real estate in the Boston area. We love our current location, but the career opportunity was too good to say no. So despite some major aprehension, we are leaving Frederick. For those of you reading this from the New England area.....clear off the spare bed! We may be calling upon you to put us up for a night or two while we house hunt. :-)
